My Brother is WRONG!!!

in #food3 years ago

A few weeks back, I posted a Garden Update.

It took my brother all of about 15 minutes before he updated my update!

Above Making fun of my Rabbit issue. HOWEVER, he was really wrong. Clearly. Note below there seems to be some sort of grey fluff in my carrot. AND, little brother labeled Rabbits everywhere BUT my carrot Grow Bags!

Look closer!

THAT's right, it's some sort of grey fur lined nest. What kind you ask?
My Natural Resources and Ecology Daughter, with her careful poking and discovery, found a baby bunny!

IMG_1038.JPG

BUT WAIT!!!! there's more!

IMG_1041.JPG

There's FIVE baby rabbots growing in the carrot. 4 more in another part of the flower garden and 4 more out front of the house....

Or are there???

IMG_1040.JPG

KIDDING, Kidding, people. It's a joke, that's all. NOT one single rabbit was harmed in the whole process. She is a careful Natural Resources Biologist. I suspect, she'd give her arm up, before she lets any animals get harmed.

Nah, I wouldn't buy your story of roasting the bunnies. Wow! momma rabbit chose the best place to birth her babies I guess. She has food and protection right there.

Hahah crap.. that last photo scared me for a bit :D

I was cooking when my daughter found the babies. The whole post came together in my head, while she took photos w/ my phone. She was in her glory, out there, with The Nature

Yes yes...
"Hey daughter... go fetch some food from the garden... "
Mhm.. Sure :p

HAHAHA right??? something is so wrong with him hahahahaha

Too much fresh air!
Definitely :D

I guess mommy rabbit liked the security of the fence you put up for her ...she seems to have gotten the wrong message.

She found a few entry points for mommy, including what we are both sure is a special underground entrance

It's fine. There's always other carrots to grow

who is taking on the bunny raising? LMP? sounds like it's a good fit for her.

I"m betting I know the official family photographer. Grovid coasters... a new line coming for next Easter.

Momma is around, in fact more than one momma is around. They'll be fine, back in their nest for when momma get's home.

BTW, MYTH about human scent and mom's will abandon. Mom's dont abandon at the scent of a human. Not for almost all species out there.

yeah their maternal instincts are strong. Would take the young being seriously sick for her to abandon.

yes - keep them safe inside! ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLllll oh man. thats a LOT of bunnies!

inside? Have you met Tucker? they are definitely safest where they are.

meant inside the fence LOLOLOL

he built the fence to keep them outside...
but they decided he built it to keep them inside (the fence) hahahaha

true.. that was what I meant when I said momma got the wrong message.

yup hehehehe

hahahahaha so so wrong LOL

but i know you. turkey tips for sure.

no bunny buns were harmed LOL your daughter would ROAST YOU!!! HEHEHEHE

i love seeing the bunnies - and sad you had to sacrifice your carrots to them - but....

BUNNIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
