I would like to share to you our dinner for tonight. Since we are addictive in korean drama's that is very popular here in Asia because of their RomComDrama Series, good looking celebrities, their fashion, the soundtracks, and of course their foods. After we watched korean series we decided to try some of their most popular food style named Samgyeopsal. We try it at home and we did it and we feel like we are in korea..hehe

I took this photo to share to you what is Samgyeopsal.

People in Korea like their pork belly a lot. And they call it samgyeopsal. Literally, it means “three layered flesh”. It is like your regular bacon only cut much thicker. And you can eat this pork belly with lettuce the green one there are different kinds of lettuce it's up to you if what kind of lettuce do you want.

Since this is our dinner for tonight I decided to make also Gimbap. Gimbap is a Korean dish made from cooked rice and other ingredients that are rolled in gim—dried sheets of laver seaweed—and served in bite-sized slices. And I make also kimchi which is one of the best recipe of koreans. I learn how to make gimbap and kimchi because I'm watching a video in youtube how to make it, at my first try it's not perfect but when I try it again it's almost perfect. There is a saying "Practice makes you perfect" and "Try and try until you succeed" :)

If you want to try this at home, you can make it too. This dish is easy to make so that you can also try Samgyeopsal in your home, you just grilled the pork on the grilling pan and you can use portable stove for the grilling pan (if you have). Bring korea in your home and feel it. :)
