Let's Eat! : Home made Ice Scramble! 🤗

There weren't that much food items that start with "I," so as always, mine is "ice," but its different from all the other ice-type of food that I shared before.

Ice Scramble is one of my favorite snacks from childhood. My mother would always tell us not to buy this from the vendors roaming around the neighborhood and/or staying outside the school gate because it might give us more harm than good. Well, because this food is prepared by hand by the vendors themselves, and it being a street food, parents were just trying to protect their kids.

For 10 pesos per cup, each spoonful brought back childhood memories I'd forever cherish.

This is the Ice Crusher or also known as ice shaver it is a device that is specifically used to crush the ice easily.

I made four cups of Ice Scramble for the kids (my 2 niece) and for the feeling kids like me and my sister!😂😂

Want to make one at home? Just mix crushed ice and the red food coloring powder to make your ice base a little pinkish. Scoop out the ice mix in cups and top it with skimmed milk powder and chocolate syrup (like Hersheys), and you can also put a toppings if you want like rice crispies, marshmallows and candy coated chocolate buttons (like M&Ms), to make it more appetizing. :)

When you finally go back to your old hometown, you find it wasn't the old home you missed but your childhood :)
