Must have been a really delicious and special cake :-) Those memories are precious for sure.
My grandma made a wonderful cake too. I loved it. I still vividly remember the taste and what it looked like. Last time I had it was in 1992 when I was 12 years old. No one has the recipe for it. It was my grandma's own recipe and there is nothing exactly like it.
