Os quiero enseñar las terrazas del hostal restaurante Anón, que por la pandemia han decidido cerrar.
I want to show you the terraces of the hostel-restaurant Anón, which because of the pandemic has decided to close.
En Primavera y Verano era muy agradable comer y tomarse algo refrescante en las terrazas del Hostal. Terrazas llenas de luz, plantas y buenas vistas a un paisaje que se pierde en el horizonte.
In spring and summer it was very pleasant to eat and have a refreshing drink on the terraces of the hostel. Terraces full of light, plants and good views of a landscape that is lost in the horizon.
La terraza tiene un emparrado hecho con traviesas de vías de ferrocarril y cañas. Comer en la semisombra que crean las cañas y las vides, sumándole la brisa de verano, es una delicia.
The terrace has a bower made of railway sleepers and reeds. Eating in the semi-shade created by the reeds and vines, with the addition of the summer breeze, is a delight.
Las mesas son pequeñas y adornadas con pequeños azulejos formando un dibujo. Detalles árabes en la decoración y en la comida. Aquí puedes pedir para compartir con la pareja el plato favorito. En este caso os enseño una musaka de cordero. Ahora que la veo recuerdo su sabor y espero por favor que vuelvan a abrir y poder comerla de nuevo.
The tables are small and decorated with small tiles forming a pattern. Arabian details in the decoration and in the food. Here you can order your favourite dish to share with your partner. In this case I show you a lamb moussaka. Now that I see it, I remember its taste and I hope they open again and I can eat it again.
En la terraza no ponían manteles de tela como sí hacen en el restaurante en el piso inferior. Es todo más de calle, pero la calidad en la comida es la misma. No podía faltar las berenjenas gratinadas y el paté de la casa hecho por ellos, y lo mismo que el pan.
On the terrace they didn't have cloth tablecloths as they do in the restaurant downstairs. Everything is more street food, but the quality of the food is the same. The aubergines au gratin and the homemade pâté were a must, as was the bread.
En la terraza picamos del mismo plato y bebemos mucho para refrescarnos de las altas temperaturas. Si con eso no es suficiente para estar a gusto, los dueños nos permiten refrescarnos en la pequeña piscina, que es para clientes del hostal.
On the terrace we eat from the same plate and drink a lot to cool down from the high temperatures. If that is not enough to be comfortable, the owners allow us to cool off in the small swimming pool, which is for guests of the hostel.
¿No pensáis que es un paraíso? Lo era y espero que cuando llegue la normalidad vuelvan a abrir.
Don't you think it's paradise? It used to be and I hope that when normality comes they will reopen it again.
