Lentils soup is my favorite! It's one of national dishes in Slovakia. We do it differently and we use brown lentils and no rice plus we use potatoes and carrots in it as well. Oh, I love lentils in any form :)
I'm sorry to hear that you favorite place closed. Do you know what was the reason? But well, at least you mastered this soup so now you don't miss anything! Maybe besides this tabouleh salad which is easy to make too :)

According to my Son, they closed because they were not turning a profit. Only breaking even. I think if they had been open in the evening they would have done better.
