Gut Health in a Bowl!

Salad at the @gardenofeden is always a blessing!
Everyday I get to create and eat the freshness of my own inspired creations.

Today's salad was chock full of homemade and homegrown yumminess!


We fermented this egg in a delicious salty brine with a combination of turmeric, curry, a variety of ground Eden peppers, cilantro, and black pepper.  After eating fermented hard-boiled eggs, we've had the inclination to never eat plain hard boiled eggs again!  These are just soooooo good and good for you!



A dollop of turmeric spiced rice with lime a cilantro was nestled on a bed of fresh greens and wild weeds, red onion, green onion and chives from the garden, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, cottage cheese, tabloui hummus, black bean chips, and a healthy scoop of homemade kim chi (also a fermented specialty at the @gardenofeden).



Of course the dressing was home made too using our own homemade vinegars (also alive with active cultures), which added the perfect finishing touch.


We host workshops on fermentation at the @gardenofeden.
Gut health is an extremely important factor in overall well-being,
