Although I have been an artist for most of my life, this is my very first work of pizza art. But it is too oily to frame. At first glance, perhaps all you see here is a tasty and colorful dish of food. Yet look a bit more carefully. Is anything staring back at you?
Can you spot the face in the toppings of this pizza pie?
My wife @denisechips made this delicious dish from scratch and I slightly rearranged the toppings to transform it into an edible face. As I went into creative mode, my wife commented, "You know, people say it is not okay to play with your food. But I guess it's okay to do so as long as you are making some art out of it."
Of course, this thing with a face did not last long. I ate the original edamame bean nose and replaced it with a piece of crust. Then I ate the whole thing not long after its creation.

Hehe it would not have lasted long enough even for photos if It was near me. I do enjoy pizza!
My cooking skills are not that great. Presentation has never been something I ever put thought into when cooking things. Always interesting to see how people approach to spicing up what they are eating either from ingredient changes or presentation.
What is it they say about eating things with a face? This looks super tasty. I'd chow on that ;)
