ZENITH // BRUNCH & COCKTAILS
Yesterday we woke up not so early. Decided to sleep as long as we can. Tried to be lazy and irresponsible. We couldn't. Hunger woke us up. Do not mess with hunger, we thought. We dressed up and left the house. Where to go? The most common question when hunger comes so fast and you don't know much about the city yet.
Walking around, exploring the streets of Lisbon is nice, but when you are hungry it's not so nice and fun. Sniffing around and getting lost in our new neighborhood began hopeful and almost ended hopelessly. At the point we wanted to quit this food discovery mission a sign just appeared to us. Just above our heads. Entered. Set. Ordered and had the best breakfast or to be precise brunch time during our stay in Lisbon.
ZENITH // BRUNCH & COCKTAILS is a new place in the city. It's been only two weeks since they open their doors. When you don't expect it you stumble on it. Call it magic... or whatever...
Zenith is a well known and famous brunch place in Porto, we discovered. I am a huge fan of new things and places, although you cannot escape the fact to seek and find something that is wrong or missing. But, I'll have to shake hands. I failed in my hidden, unconscious actions and I am do glad they beat me. The place is totally worth a visit.
The place is very well decorated, with very interesting details spread on two floors. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient, especially considering they were on the second week of their new adventure. It opens every day at 9 am and serves the menu until seven in the afternoon. Zenith brunch is treated as breakfast, lunch, snack, mid-morning or afternoon snack. If there is anyone from Lisbon reading this or someone who is planing to come or someone who is already here searching for some good breakfast, this new place is located in Rua do Telhal, very close to Avenida da Liberdade.
