2 bags vegan dark chocolate chips
1 can organic unsweetened coconut milk

1/2 cup roasted and salted macadamia nuts (chopped fine)
1/2 cup total volume of organic dried herbs of choice~ I chose a mild aphrodisiac tonic bend of damiana, shatavari and lavender

Kava Kava is a peaceful euphoric and makes a wonderful herbal substitute to this recipe*

in a double boiler melt your chocolate chips on a low heat while stirring
(a large pot w/ 3/4 inches of water in the bottom with a metal bowl inside to add chocolate chips to works great on a medium low heat if your don't have a double boiler)
heat on medium your coconut oil
add your herbs to the coconut oil and allow to lightly simmer for 20 minutes

strain your coconut milk into your melted chocolate and mix until smooth
allow chocolate blend to refrigerate in a glass tupperware over night

spoon scoops of your chilled chocolate and roll into 1" balls
drop rolled balls into bowls of chopped nuts or coconut shreds and cover

This seems really good, and many thanks for sharing this recipe with us.

You're welcome, so glad you likes it!

thanks for the recipe, I've been looking for something like this--knowing my sweet tooth, I'd probably add a little sweetener like coconut sugar or agave. I wonder how this would taste with a little dessert wine instead of the sweetener? I'm definitely going to try this. Resteeming!

Oh just start with sweetened chocolate chips and voila- it’ll change quit a bit! I’ve done this for kids birthday parties and dropped the herbs, easy to manipulate this basic recipe. If you’re not vegan you can sweeten it more by adding condensed milk instead of coconut milk, I find this to be way too sweet but if your going for that kind of eye opening treat, that dark chocolate and sugar ratio will definitely do it! But I’m so glad you liked it!

okay, will do and I'll keep experimenting as you suggested...

They look awesome!

I'm so glad! My friends do go crazy for them:)

Not into vegan - but aphrodisiac sounds sounds good

Haha, well these can always be made extra hefty by replacing the can of coconut milk with condensed milk- not at all vegan and a wee bit sweeter to boot!

This recipe looks DELICIOUS! You've been featured in this week's #LadiesofSteemit curation All You Need is Love. 💓
