in #food6 years ago

We all know that eggs contain cholesterol, and for that reason, many people refrain from eating it, thinking that egg is an unhealthy food.
The american heart association encourages us to consume less than 300 mg of cholesterol per day.
The question is, is it healthy to eat eggs or not since they contain cholesterol? It is healthy but you need to eat only one egg daily or 2 eggs every other day. Eggs contain bad and good cholesterol. So pay attention to how many eggs do you eat daily.

Health benefits of eggs:
1-Eggs contain calcium. We need Calcium for good bone and good teeth, but again, do not try to get your daily needed portion of calcium from eggs, since eating too many eggs will hurt you.

2-Eggs contain Vit. d. Which help in the absorption of calcium, which is vital for healthy bone and teeth. Add to this that vit. d maintain the function of your immune and nervous system.

3-High protein level: Protein builds good muscles

4-Vitamin B2, B6, B12: B vitamins lower the stroke risk, boost immune system, delay skin aging, and provide your body with energy.

5-Contains Lutein: Lutein prevent macular degeneration, which is a blindness caused by aging.

6-Iron: boosts hemoglobin formation and improves muscle function

7-Omega 3 fatty acids: It lowers the risk of heart disease.

Nutrients in eggs. A large size egg contains the following:
75 cal.
3 g protein
5 g fats (both good and bad fats)
23 mg potassium
2 g carbohydrate
1 g iron
2 g sodium

P.S. do not eat raw eggs, as bacteria can reach the egg through the pores of its shells.

Cite your sources. This is not hard.

my source is my education, there is not a book that I read that in. but thanks for your comment

Unfortunately that's not an acceptable source as the information is not common knowledge.

All said, I do not suspect with blogs like this that you will generate much traction.
