Happy Harvest Day to me! Finally my long wait is over. I am able to enjoy my fruit if my hardwork and effort for the past 45 days.

Looking back on that first day were I sow these lettuce seeds and hoping that they will grow and to survive the summer heat and unexpected heavy rain.

Everyday that I checked them if they had enough water, rotting of roots and fallen leaves was too much of work. Atleast, these kind of experience in planting and growing one of the most sensitive vegetables that I ever had to grow and harvest is a great accomplishment to me.

Today we'll be planning to make a lettuce salad with hard boiled eggs. I think it will add more flavor and texture to my salad. Let me share this very quick and easy lettuce salad.

Ingredients:

Lettuce (cut into bite sized pieces)
1-2 pcs hard boiled eggs
2-3 onions
2 pcs tomato
Mayo for dressing
Fine black pepper

Here how:

1.Wash and drain lettuce. In a bowl simply cut into bite sized pieces, onion diced, and tomato.

3.Pour mayo entirely on top. (You can add more if your a mayo lover like me!) For the final touch, sprinkle pepper and it is ready. Serve and enjoy!

Chill it before serving, but I guess it can be take straight. The lettuce is crisp, not too bitter just the usual thing after taste in green leafy vegetable like in cabbage.

This is so so good. We want more but our mayo was just enough for this serving. Will definitely try this in burger. Eating my own harvested lettuce assures me that I take the freshest and safest lettuce knowing that I don't used any pesticides here.

Thanks for your reading it and hoping you could also try this at home.
