Dark chocolate lavaaaa in 25min tops!

in #food6 years ago

Uh ohhh if you've clicked on this link you're in troubleee!

I'm going to show you how to whip up an incredibly naughty dark chocolate lava in less than 25min, cooking included!

Serves one extremely hungry Ironman finisher or a dozen of polite guests at the end of a meal

Ingredients:

  • 200g of dark chocolate
  • 200g of margarine (I like the slightly salted ones!). If you're not dairyfree go ahead and use full dairy salted butter!
  • 225g brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 15g of flour (any basic flour will do) + a spoonful for the plate

Optional: vanilla essence, walnuts, sprinkles

Steps:

  1. Preheat your oven at 190C

  2. Pour the roughly cubed chocolate and margarine/butter in a bowl and melt it in the microwave or in a sauce pan of boiling water

  3. Stir and incorporate the eggs one by one, beating the mix energetically

  4. Finish by adding the flour. You can add a few drops of vanilla if you fancy!

  5. Cover your mould with some margarine and flour, for the cake not to stick. Pour your batter in the mould and feel free to drop a few walnuts in there for some extra crunch!

  6. Put in the oven for 15-20 min. You want the middle to be still melting, but if you stick a knife in it it shouldn't come out full of liquid batter. For me, 18min is the sweeeet spot!

  7. Dadaaaaam! You can remove from the mould and sprinkle this beauty with some swag. Serving hot is recommended for an extra lava feel, but the cake stays wonders in the fridge for a few days. If you can refrain yourself from eating it all :))
