This is what I had for lunch today; Vegetable Korma which the chef said was 60 Thai Baht and a side dish of rice which was 30 Thai Baht. The presentation was of the food was great!
This is the front view of the Kebab House where I had lunch. Notice the banner states that the chef is from New Delhi and that he has vegetarian and non-vegetarian (pretty good marketing). The chef spoke great English.
This is the main menu that the chef brought to my table.
This is the "Today's specials" one page laminated side menu.
This is the page from a third menu that the chef brought to me where I made my order from. There was something on the street menu that the price didn't match the other menu's it was a bit confusing, but I settled on this selection. It didn't take long for the food to come from the kitchen. My guess is that he had everything ready.
The vegetable korma looked amazing! I really liked the colors and the texture.
The rice was the best looking rice I have since since I'm in Chiang Mai.
There was an assortment of 4 spiced but the one I like the most was the green mint spice, ti's was just great and it complimented the rice and korma very well.
One of the best tasting parts of the vegetable korma was the coley-flower, it just melted in my mouth!
The rice not only looked really good, but it's texture was the opposite of the sticky Thai rice. It was dry and flaky and it complimented the korma perfectly!
There was a real good assortment of vegetables in each and every bite! This was one of my favorite meals since I have been to Chiang Mai and can recommend it to all those who like Indian food or anyone who just likes to try something new. I don't think you will be disappointed.
This is what the street view from my table looks like.
This is the view to the empty table next to mine.
Forward view from my table. The place is very small and cozy.
Lots of pictures of people who have dined before.
This is what I paid with (I need to work on my focus, it's not the best in low lighting).
This is my change after I paid. Total is:
That's it. Hope you liked the photo lunch and may your next lunch be even more delicious then mine was.
