Dabeli is a popular Sweet and Spicy snack originating from Gujarat and now famous across the globe. It is made using Pav with a filling of mashed potato mixture and chutneys. The stuffing is placed between the pav with mint and tamarind chutney. It is widely served as a breakfast item and also as an evening snack.

Ingredients:
• 2 Boiled Potatoes
• 1 Onion, finely chopped
• Chopped coriander leaves
• ½ TBSP Chilli Powder
• ½ TBSP Garam Masala
• ½ TBSP Chaat Masala
• Salt to taste
• Butter for toasting
• Roasted Peanuts
• Pomegranate Seeds
• Aloo Bhujiya
Method
Step 1: Boil the Potatoes and mash to a fine mixture. Add all spices, chopped onion and coriander leaves and mix well.
Step 2: Take a pav, cut it into half without breaking it.
Step 3: To one side of the pav, apply tamarind chutney and to the other side, apply mint chutney.
Step 4: Add the potato mixture. Place some chopped onion, pomegranate seeds and peanuts on the mixture. Also add some aloo bhujiya to give it a crispy taste.
Step 5: Cover the pav and toast it on the pan with some butter.
Step 6: Serve hot with tomato ketchup or garlic chutney.
