Kung Pao chicken lunch special at one of my favorite restaurants is only $5.99! It comes with fried rice and an egg roll. I'm pretty sure that Chinese food lunch specials are some of the best deals around. They're very generous with the portions here!
One of the ingredients I like are the peanuts. For the most part the dish is filled with crisp, tender, stir-fried chicken peices with fresh vegetables in a light sauce. The peanuts give the dish a crunch to it, which it needs at times. It's a combination of salty, sweet and spicy. You really can't go wrong ordering the Kung Pao chicken.
