Easy-To-Make Soybean Dipping Sauce

In this post I’d like to share a recipe for one of my favorite Thai foods. I rarely see this food at restaurants in Japan, I'm going to cook it myself. It’s not difficult to make. Let’s start.

Serves: 2-3 people

Preparation Method

Ingredients:

1.Minced pork, 150 grams
2.Minced soybeans, 3 tablespoons
3.Coconut milk, 250 ml
4.Coconut sugar, 2 tablespoons
5.Tamarind sauce, 1 tablespoon
6.Chili spur peppers, 1-2
7.Chilis, 5-6
8.Cut onions, 2 tablespoons
9.Coriander, 1
10.Fish sauce, 1 table spoon

How To Make Soybean Dipping Sauce

1.Wash soybean paste to decrease saltiness and mince it.

2.Put coconut milk in the pot and stir over medium heat and until heated.

3.Stir in minced soybeans.

4.Add minced pork and stir until done.

Be careful, the minced pork can be sticky.

5.Add coconut sugar, fish sauce and tamarind sauce and stir together.

6.Add cut onions, chili spur peppers, and chilis and stir again.

7.Turn off the heat and serve on a dish with fresh vegetables.

You can use this dip with anything you like. It’s very good with vegetables such as cucumbers, Chinese cabbage, or eggplant.
