Tonight I visit another restaurant I have not visited since the lockdown happens, this round is Restaurant Makanan Laut Soon-Ly.

I decided to order a plate of Dongpo pork rice, it cost RM9 per plate.

For those who don't know what Dongpo Pork is, Dongpo pork ( 东坡肉) is an Hangzhou dish. It is made by pan-frying and then red cooking pork belly. The pork is cut thick, about two inches square, and should consist equally of fat and lean meat. The skin is left on. The mouthfeel is oily but not greasy and the dish is fragrant with wine. The dish is named after the Song Dynasty poet and gastronome Su Dongpo

Here is how it looks like when my Dongpo pork rice arrived.

Don't you feel hungry after looking at it?

If you like Chinese food and happen to be at Wangsa Maju then come to this restaurant. Restaurant Makanan Laut Soon-Ly. has been operating here for 30 years. The restaurant is open every day except on Tuesday every 2 weeks. They open from 12 pm to 10 pm due to the CMCO.

There is no fix menu here. I suggest bring along a friend who is good chinese food name. If you don't know what to order, the staff will recommend for you.

Here is how around the restaurant looks like.
