Moses has been named the best Continental player for the last 12-months ahead of the likes of Gabon's Aubameyang, Egypt's Salah, Sadio Mane of Senegal and Guinea's Nabil Keita.
The 17/18 Premier League season saw Victor Moses claim his first EPL trophy. He was introduced into the Chelsea starting-11 by Conte in the late 2016 and since then He has impressed and has proven himself to be a key-figure losing only twice - against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United - before FA Cup Final defeat at the hands of Arsenal in which He was dismissed but later redeemed himself by scoring the equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Arsenal in the Community Shield final in Wembley before losing it on penalties.

If the player of the Year Award seek to reward ability, then a forward who has avoided the limelight in order to play an unfamiliar role,to the end that the team is more balanced is a worthy recipient of the Award.
Victor Moses may not have been the most prolific African player in 2017, but without a doubt he was instrumental.
