Liverpool fc continued there impressive winning streak after beating Arsenal football club mercilessly yesterday at Anfield. Maitland-niles open the scoring for Arsenal in the 11th minute but Liverpool responded with goal riot as R firmino scored two goals within the interval of two minutes, S mane made it three goals to one in favour of Liverpool in the 32nd minute thanks to Mo salah assist. later Mo salah made it four goals to one at the end of first by scoring from penalty spot. Firmino completed his hat trick in the 65th minute after scoring penalty. Arsenal made some changes in the second half but the deed has being done. This is Arsenal biggest loss of the season and Liverpool maintained there lead at the premier league table with this victory.
*** this now leave me with this question, can Liverpool win the trophy this year?***
Liverpool is now 7 point ahead of Man city should Man city win there game today after Tottenham lost at home to Wolves. There Wembley jinx was broken by Wolves yesterday as Wolves thrashed the three goals to one to end this year. To me Liverpool and Wolves gave Arsenal and Tottenham compliment of the year respectively.
