Those freaking knee injuries. I would love to see his final numbers if he stayed healthy. To me it is huge when a QB comes in as a freshman and is able to put up solid numbers. That's the guy I want to follow and see at draft time. With the wonders of medicine he should be good to go next year.
Nothing hurts an athlete more than having injury when in form and playing very well.
Hope he stay injury free this season.

Boston College was actually much more competitive this past season than many thought they would be, and a large part of that was his performance. A home route of Florida State (albeit a disappointing FSU squad this yr) was the highlight. Brown was just 6/20 passing in that game, but did throw for a Touchdown and run for another one. He's going to have to improve dramatically on that accuracy, but that being said, very very solid for a Freshman. BC should be excited for this upcoming season and be in contention for a Bowl game.
Boston College will begin spring practice on Tuesday at Alumni Stadium with their starting quarterback on the sidelines. Redshirt sophomore Anthony Brown is recovering from knee surgery and his absence opens the position for locals E.J. Perry of Andover and John Fadule of Wellesley.

an incredible roll, very toned and directional.
a very good player.
Heading into the season the presumptive favorite to be the starter was clearly graduate Darius Wade. Wade had waited his turn for years, missing his first season as a starter due to a leg injury and finding himself in a backup role to Patrick Towles last season. In a rather stunning move, he was benched again, this time in favor of redshirt freshman Anthony Brown. Brown started to find his groove, most memorably throwing for 275 yards and three touchdowns against Virginia. Then disaster struck when he went down with a non-contact injury against N.C. State. Darius Wade jumped in and did an admirable job to finish the season, pulling off two wins against UConn and Syracuse.
