Farming is one of the routine activities for most people in my village. Perhaps in some areas of Aceh or elsewhere it is the same. However, there are interesting things happen after the harvest is done, especially during the dry season. Usually, after all the farmers have finished harvesting all the paddy fields, the paddy fields become dry and not planted until Khenduri Blang begins.

The rest period allows for young people and children to use the vacant lot as an arena to play. One of the most frequently played games is the football game. The paddy field is functioned as football field although they actually have a special football field around the village.

Nothing special about the footbal event, but the ueforia is so overwhelming and the noise of the children's cheers around the ball field called me to come. Honestly, on my way back from the office, I noticed an oddity around my neighborhood. Small children and some young men who usually sit in a small hall beside the street did not look as usual. Suddenly I heard a rather cheerful roar. In fact, the location of the field was about 500 meters from my house. I tried to find out and the sound was from the middle of rice field where seen two goal poles and about 14 people were playing ball. Extraordinary. I went straight to them and tried to perpetuate it.

The interesting thing about the football game in the middle of the rice field

The football game basically requires an umpire and two line judges to lead the game. However, in the football game in the middle of the field, they only rely on the value of tolerance and mutual understanding of all things either an offense or an anarchist action. No one leads the game, but they enjoy it because for them to lose or win is not important because their goal is to enjoy togetherness after a long time preoccupied with farming.

In addition, the interesting thing about the football game in the middle of the rice field is that it is not justified to use a foot protector like shoes. However, none of the footballers suffered any significant injuries and they remained in compliance with the existing rules.

Now, the football game is over and the ball field is no longer there because it has been held Khenduri Blang event. Football game in the middle of the rice field will be held 4 months after the rice is harvested. More precisely, football ball event is like a celebration to release fatigue and useful to build silaturrahmi while entertaining themselves.

Bertani adalah salah satu kegiatan rutin bagi sebahagian besar orang di kampung saya. Mungkin di beberapa daerah di Aceh atau di tempat lain juga sama. Akan tetapi, ada hal yang menarik terjadi setelah panen selesai dilakukan, terutama pada saat musim kemarau. Biasanya, setelah semua petani selesai memanen semua padinya, tanah sawah menjadi kering dan tidak ditanami apa-apa sampai masa Khenduri Blang di mulai.

Masa istirahat tersebut memungkinkan bagi para pemuda dan anak-anak untuk menggunakan lahan kosong tersebut sebagai arena untuk bermain. Salah satu permainan yang sering di mainkan adalah Permainan bola kaki. Tanah sawah tersebut difungsikan sebagai lapangan bola kaki walaupun sebenarnya mereka memiliki lapangan bola kaki khusus di sekitar kampung.

Tidak ada yang spesial dalam acara permainan bola itu, akan tetapi ueforianya sangat terasa dan suara sorakan anak-anak disekitar lapangan bola memanggil saya untuk datang. Jujur, pada saat kembali dari kantor, saya melihat keanehan di sekitar lingkungan saya. Anak-anak kecil dan beberapa pemuda yang biasanya duduk di balai kecil di samping jalan tidak tampak seperti biasanya. Tiba-tiba saya mendengar sorakan yang lumayan bergemuruh. Padahal, lokasi lapangan itu sekitar 500 meter dari rumah saya. Saya mencoba mencari tahu dan suara itu dari tengah persawahan dimana terlihat dua tiang gawang dan sekitar 14 orang sedang bermain bola. Luar biasa. Saya langsung menghampiri mereka dan mencoba mengabadikan hal tersebut.

Hal yang menarik dari permainan bola kaki di tengah sawah

Permainan bola kaki pada dasarnya membutuhkan seorang wasit dan dua hakim garis untuk memimpin permainannya. Akan tetapi, pada permainan bola kaki di tengah sawah tersebut, mereka hanya mengandalkan nilai toleransi dan saling mengerti terhadap segala hal baik itu pelanggaran ataupun tindakan yang anarkis. Tidak ada yang memimpin pertandingan, akan tetapi mereka menikmatinya karena bagi mereka kalah atau menang tidak penting karena tujuan mereka adalah menikmati kebersamaan setelah sekian lama disibukkan dengan bertani.

Selain itu, hal yang menarik pada permainan bola kaki di tengah sawah adalah tidak dibenarkan untuk menggunakan pelindung kaki seperti sepatu. Akan tetapi, tidak ada satu orang pun dari para pemain bola tersebut yang mengalami luka yang berarti dan mereka tetap mengikuti peraturan yang sudah ada itu.

Sekarang, permainan bola kaki itu sudah selesai dan lapangan bola sudah tidak ada lagi karena sudah diadakan acara Khenduri Blang. Permainan bola kaki di tengah sawah itu akan tetap diadakan 4 bulan kedepan setelah padi selesai dipanen. Lebih tepatnya, acara permainan bola kaki itu seperti sebuah perayaan untuk melepas kelelahan dan berguna untuk membangun silaturrahmi sambil menghibur diri.
