Today's photo is of a cosplayer at Gen Con in 2012. I'm not sure what her costume is but it's great and I felt the close-up photo came out really well especially those giant blue eyelashes.
I chose this photo for the weekly photo fun contest, the theme of the week is "framed." I selected this photo because her face is framed by her hands and elaborate hair. In the second photo, she is framed by the pillar behind her.

I took this photo with a Nikon D300S, 28mm f/1.8 lens, and no speedlight.
