An elderly couple in Australia was wiped out after a door-to-ddor salesman lured them into an arrangement that was wrought with fraud.
The couple got a mortgage on a unit that was $160,000 over the true value. They eventually sold the unit for $290,000 leaving them with a $200,000 loss.
