The first spring after I bought my house I planted three raspberry bushes but one survived. My goal is to plant as much food on my property as I can. The next summer at the end of raspberry season I found the edge of the woods next to me along the road was all blackberries. Last year I got about 2 pounds of blackberries off of the bushes. Now this year I know where all the berries are and pick them as they ripen so tonight I wanted a snack so I walked around and hit up 3 bushes and got about a half of a pound of berries.
Amazing. There is nothing better than fresh berries in the garden! 🍇
