Why Suicide Clinics Should Be A Thing

in #freedom7 years ago (edited)

I know that a ton of people are going to disagree with me on this subject, but nonetheless I would like to share my opinion. I think that suicide clinics should exist all around the world.

No one chooses to be born, it just happens to those that are. And you can't deny the fact that many, well... some people would rather not be here - whether it's because of mental problems or just an overall view on this world. About 1 million people every year decide to take their lives.

Personally I believe that every human being should have the right to end their life if that's what they desire. Especially since they never asked for it. It's kind of like getting an ugly sweater for Christmas and being forced to wear it every single day.

Call me a psychopath or whatnot, but I think suicide clinics should exist and they should be considered as legitimate businesses. Why? Well let me tell you why it's a win-win for everyone.

  1. A person experiencing excruciating pain - whether it's mental or physical - wants their life to be over, so they go to a suicide clinic and get it over with. The suffering person gets what they want.
  2. The suicide clinic gets paid x amount of $ for each person they put out of their misery. The suicide clinic gets what they want.
  3. The government doesn't need to spend money on authorities picking up deceased people from train tracks, sidewalks, streets, etc. The government saves their funds.

I know that many people think that everyone can be helped through psychologists and what not . Unfortunately that's not the case. Not every human being can live a happy life. Not every human can escape their suffering. If someone is suicidal, they will find a way to end their pain. And they can do it by throwing themselves under a train and causing hundreds of people being late to work or doing it in a more practical way. It's up to the society whether those people do it in a convenient manner or not.

And before you call me a morbid devil, just know that I wish nothing but happiness to everyone. I wish that every human being could stay happy and content for the rest of their lives, however I know for a fact that's not a possibility for many.

I also believe people should have the right to decide when to end their life.
BUT not in all cases. If it's depression and mental health issues these people need to seek the right help and explore all options for help. Most depressed people fail to find the right help in time but when they do they often go on to lead regular lives.

So these "clinics" would be a great place to evaluate people and offer them legitimate help first.
