RE: Why do you think some people should have rights that you and I don't have?

in #freedom7 years ago

I forgot how I got gina bot to work, I know I had to send some money, and then go to the dicord and register, and then they sent the money back. If you want a good just steemit only notifications steemworld.org works real good - https://steemworld.org/@ourfreesociety that would be you. The mentions do not include the Discord mentions, but will let you know when people type " @ourfreesociety" in any post or comment. Plus @steemchiller is real quick at responding to people when they have issues with the app, and he has a damn fine looking front end to it all very well organized if you have not seen it.

Another - very important account to look into is the @dustsweeper account. As a new user a lot of your interactions may be with redfish/minnows. What was recently made almost wide knowledge is the dust vote level, that is if a post or a comment does not reach or exceeded $0.020 then that vote and all associated actions with it is nullified. No payout, no curation reward. @dustsweeper is an account to try and boost those redfish and minnow less than a penny votes to a meaningful level, something to look into. @davemccoy and @danielsaori are people that are well trusted and respected. So basically, you buy 71 upvotes of dust level votes on your account for 1 SBD. I am not sure if they follow your votes and boost them or not, but still when getting a lot of small votes now they will count for something.

Sort:

@bashadow - Ok, so I have to figure out how to get 1SBD into my account I guess. And I don't think I'm getting any money from these things b/c I had no idea you had to have a min. amount.

How do you know when someone is a whale or redfish, etc.?

I finally got the Discord working for SM LOL

So I don't need the steemworld site then right?

Thanks

Looks like you do have 1 SBD, in fact a little over 5 SBD's:
STEEM DOLLARS = $5.460 <----- that's your SBD balance.
A redfish is an account with less than 1000 SP
A minnow is between 1,000 and less than 10,000 SP
A dolphin is 10,000 and less than 100,000 SP
An Orca is 100,000 to 1,000,000 SP
a Whale is over 1,000,000 SP I think those are the levels.
SP = STEEM POWER you have 0.352 STEEM (SP)
No the steemworld site is just a nice tool to see quickly how your vote power level is.

The really nice thing about the @dustsweeper account is that it makes all those initial less than a penny votes actually count. 5 days ago I had a vote that was about a penny @dustsweeper gave that comment an 8,84% vote that raised it to $0.030, so really worth it, otherwise I would have received nothing for the vote, and the individual that cast the vote would have received 0 for curation, so now we both win.

@bashadow - ok, I got confused b/c when I sent 0.001 to the ginabot, it said I only had 0.015 or something. Why did it do that?

Ok, I just tried to send it 1 SBD, but it said the following:

"Each account segment should start with a letter. "

What's that number beside my handle?

Thanks for the list.

Just a few pictures; First where to start the process:

where to start screen.png
This is from the wallet tab, In the STEEM DOLLARS row all the way to the left is where you will see your balance and a small down facing black triangle. clicking on that triangle will open up that smaller window, you want to click on Transfer.

After clicking Transfer this screen window pops up:

In the to box you want to put the name of the person you want to send funds to without using the "@" symbol. Example dustsweeper. In the ammount box you want to type in the amount you want to send Example 1.000 You need to cary it out to 3 decimal places to the right of the ' . ' so you always need a starting number to the left of the dot, and 3 numbers to the right of the dot - - 0.000 - - .The memo box you can put anything there, but everyone will be able to read it.

After filling that box all out you get the are you sure you want to box:

Then the Password entry screen
The password you need is your active key, and that password should start with a number. I have no idea how any of the other wallets work other than the one for moving things around on steemit. The transfer is for when you want to give another steemit account some funds, the transfer to savings is for putting a little bit into a savings account, and the market is to convert the SBD's to steem so you can power it up to STEEM POWER for SP. I hope that helps at least a little bit. For funds from steemit to somewhere else outside of steemit @doomsdaychassis would be better help than I on that.

@bashadow - yes thanks for that.

I did finally figure the transfer out for the ginabot, but I keep getting this error when trying to send to the dust bot.

I did have the @sign in the field, but even once I took it out it's still giving me the error.

It was hard to read your text because the photos are covering them, but I think I had everything in order.

Your SS shows 0.0001 SBD. Is that the amount I'm supposed to send? Not 1.000?

I didn't know about the 3 000's after the decimal, so thanks for that.

Here's a SS of what my transfer looks like - https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/3351754/035607b72f5ef9fd9e290f42b31fec30

Thanks again

Looks like you did it right based on your screen shot, it should be the 1.000. The error in the screenshot could be because of a blank space either just before or after one of the names, otherwise it looks correct from where I am sitting. The screen shot I had was of one I had posted earlier to explain the wallet. so I just reused it.

Ok, there was a space after their handle, but the error didn't go away.

When I removed one of the zeros, THEN it went away. I added the 3rd zero only b/c you told me I have to & the error didn't come back.

Thanks a ton : )

@bashadow - you may have mentioned this in that post that was hard to read, but what is that number next to my handle in my top header area?
