RE: VIVA LA CRYPTO FREEDOME: Who Will Stand Up For Crypto When The System Tries To Take It Away?

Very good post @sflaherty Thanks for sharing!

It's only logical that governments will try to control cryptocurrencies. It's like you say, we have to be prepared. I'm sticking to this long term. I like managing my finances in this way.

This is also why I really like steemit. It provides a legitimate use for cryptocurency, an obvious way to demonstrate how it can be applied in multiple ways to things we do already. It also helps people who were not involved in cryptos to get on board and try it. There is no better way to make people feel comfortable!

Couldn't agree with you more, Steemit is truly that real world usage we all needed, and a great way and place to promote the drive in the movement to get the ball rolling in a positive way. I am the same way, I live 100% crypto...will pay my taxes come tax season and fight the fight to keep this for life, but governments will pose a brick wall I think soon so we have to remain close knit and vigilant to keep this going.

I'm actually fairly new to crypto currencies. I only really started warming up to it all earlier this year. I was following the news about cryptos for a long time. It seemed like a great idea. Eventually I decided to research how to get into it. I bought some bitcoin at an atm in Glasgow last year and I joined steemit. The idea of living 100% off it is awesome. :)

It takes a little sacrifice to go all on it but well worth it. I live 100% on crypto. Takes a bit of simple living at first to bank back a safety net but once you get past that and have that nest egg in crypto it tends to get very profitable to go long term full on it. Welcome to the crypto movement by the way, always happy to see new users come on board and feel it out.
