The Libertarian Hypocrite

Summary -

Standard beliefs in general society:

Libertarians cannot participate in society. They cannot hold positions in government. They cannot participate in political parties. They cannot work with people who hold different beliefs then them.

The point behind this line of thinking seems to be that everyone has given in to some level of interference and control from government. Most people seem to honestly believe that everyone has even benefited from government interference and control. As government slowly creeps into every single crease and wrinkle of life, people seem to not only accept it but even embrace it. It becomes a part of their lives and they become a part of it. They see the benefits as directly helping them, and they see the problems and abuses as simple errors – or bad individual action – that can only be corrected by more legislation, more regulation, and more “oversight” ….........more government.

It is not hard to see how this devolves into nonstop constant expansion and domination.

People see this as such a part of themselves that they see anyone who disagrees with it as a personal threat.

They accept the logic of constant expansion and domination, and they basically see the objective as being a “part of the group” to try to steer the ship as much as they can in their own preferred direction, or to conform and embrace the group when it heads in a direction separate from what they would like. Since they hold these beliefs, it is directly contradictory and offensive if someone says that there should not even be a ship of state.

They end up in a constant state of advocating their desires, countering opposing desires, and seeking compromise when possible.

When someone comes along and says that things shouldn't even be settled this way, they are seen as weird or possibly toxic.

Sort:

Imperial government invades too much into their own people in their own countries. I might be or could be more of a fan with classical liberalism and liberty but the new kind of liberal left is and have been infiltrated through and by the progressive people and the NWO and others too. I like conservatism and I also like the freedoms of making choices as individuals and that means we should be free to rewards and consequences from our own actions. I love capitalism and I want people to compete more and that means some will be more rich while others will get poor and will die and suffer.
.
I do not like hypocrisy.

That's true. The main point that I am getting to later in the series is the strange tendency for normals to see libertarians as hypocrites...........unless they completely detach from society. Even lots of libertarians seem to think that the only society worth participating in is some kind of pure society, and anything less then that should just be scorned. I do not believe that this is the case, and I intend to try to make an argument against this.

Is the whole series going to be on libertarians? Or will you be covering other political ideologies?

This series will just be about libertarians. Despite the nearly endless variety in that group, they have definitely developed their own culture, and some of the behaviors are .........less than productive. I want to shine a light on that.
