Yeah, I know that the criminal courts over in the United Kingdom are not as harsh on defendants as they are here in the United States. Then again, British judges are not as tolerant to prosecutorial misconduct as American judges are. British judges also let all parties have their equal say in a criminal trial, whereas American judges may slant their actions in favor of the prosecution and there are no consequences for them if they do so. That is why our prison system here in the United States is overcrowded and overwhelmed with serious problems, and the powers that be of the prison-industrial complex don't care as long as they're making their money off of other people's misery.
