A lot of people are under the assumption that most problems in our society are due to a lack of cash. Obviously there can never be a lack of cash, what they actually mean is that there is a lack of resources or a strong competition for limited resources. This is the mindset of scarcity and zero sum games which often reflects the individual economic world that we as ordinary people live in.
But that analysis misses a crucial point about the Fiat monetary system.
FIAT is about Control
While a lot of us at the lower end hustle for money, at the top we find people that do not even care anymore about money. What they want is control, power and influence. And that cannot simply be bought by money.
Instead of worrying about limited resources, the elites are in the game to control our lives so that we do what they want. And there are many tools. Our fake democracy is one of those. Give us the impression that we bring all this stupidity upon ourselves and thus have no right to complain. Plus a varied spectrum of fake opposition. The best cage is the one that the prisoner does not even notice.
Another crucial tool is fiat money. This is money that they can create at zero cost, but that we accept to do tasks for. There is really no big difference to give natives glass pearls or give the people dollars. Both lead the misguided masses to work for free. Do fake jobs and get paid in fake money.
But how can money get this immense power? A necessary condition is ever looming poverty. The choice you are given is either work for their profit, or be poor and suffer. All the scarcity that we see is not based on a fundamental limitation of resources, it is engineered. The wealth that is enjoyed at the top is prohibited to the common people. Not because the ones at the top really care about getting more, but because by sharing it and allowing prosperity they would loose their power. It is similar to train tickets. Why does second class such soo much? Just so that some will buy first class tickets.
When you think that there is a lack of money, you are making a fundamental mistake about the problems that we are facing. Our problems are not individuals competing over scarce resources, it is a small elite creating a prison for us to live in.
Are we being controlled
Most of us participate in the political circus and work for dollars. No matter how free we think we are, we are acting exactly according to plan. The analysis can only be that most people are being controlled and not practically free. But even when we realise that we are being controlled, it is not easy to escape.
When we do not play their game, there are very real consequences. We just transition from being passively controlled to being actively controlled. Try not paying your taxes and you will see that it is not just a mental cage. There are real people with real guns that will put you into an actual cage.
Knowing the mechanisms of control is the first step. Escaping is an entirely different story. At least for the FIAT problem, we are seeing a promising exit in the form of cryptocurrency.
I was planning to write a piece on why we should use decentralized cryptocurrencies so as to reduce the control governments have on us. But you beat me to it. Haha.. great article!

Wrote about this throughly. Fiat has no value, what has value are the things we buy with fiat. Fiat is just a mechanism to transfer those things to the elites who has access to the money printing machine.
The average layman does not and cannot understand this concept.
