My name is Hypatia and I want to report, blog, describe and recall the stories, adventures and chronological facts that evolved from the floating city-state of Atlantis. I will also list the novel "Atlantis" which was used to generate funds for the project. The newsletters, the minting of silver coins and the other numerous schemes used to perpetuate the quest for freedom, personal freedom. 
The picture above "Seacity" from the 1960s was one of the inspirations for Henry Taylor.
Where to begin. At the beginning of the novel of course.

The beginning of a Atlantis vacation is a special time. Spirits are high, romance is in the air and everybody looks forward to the adventures that lie ahead in the floating city-state. Some come for the relaxation or the water sports activities second to none in the world. Others come to work, invest or move here. But most come for the services offered in the vice trade.
Jack Horn, a grey-haired and overweight man in his fifties slouched comfortably on the black colored leather seats of the hovercraft. He thumbed through the latest edition of the picturesque tourist guide of Atlantis -- The floating city-state on the Atlantic ocean. The pamphlet promised a vacation haven for recreational and medical drug seekers, gambling and prostitution far exceeding the offerings of Las Vegas, Amsterdam or Bangkok.
"Nothing new." as he looked up and noticed the long legged blond stewardess.
He crouched forward to receive the glass of rum and Coca Cola she had brought him.
"Thank you Vanessa." he knew her by name, as he did most of the other personal of the Atlantis Line.
"Would you like anything else Sir? she asked politely.
"No thank you this will take care of my aches." She smiled at him wondering who this gentleman was.
Because of his disguise she did not recognize him as Jack Horn. She abruptly turned to the next passenger. Jack remembered how Vanessa almost destroyed the Atlantis Project in its infancy, There would be no Atlantis today, but that was many years ago and Jack had, like always, straightened out the problem.
Jack looked outside. The ocean was bathed in a spectacular red, late afternoon sun set of Florida's First Coast. Only white foam was whipped below the hovercraft as it moved the waves of the sea at over one hundred miles per hour toward Atlantis.
These special orange colored, hydrogen powered craft took only two hours to complete the trip from Jacksonville, Florida to the city-state.
The soft background music of the craft was interrupted by the captains voice. She announced
"Attention all passengers. We will be docking in Atlantis in 20 minutes. You can look at your screens and see the small white spot. That is our destination, our Atlantis. The screens showed architectural highlights and institutions of Atlantis accompanied by the musical hymn of Atlantis, which would be recognized as Beethoven's 9th.
Jack had notice the young woman across the aisle. She had glanced at him on an off. She was pretty, with a subdued demeanor and a black-colored page style hairdo.
"May I help you." he asked as she smiled.
"Yes, maybe, can you help me with this address. My name is Amanda" she hesitated handing him the invitation letter.
Jack glanced at the document. 21 Atlas mountain lane.
"Yes I know this address. Its in the Green district. Second level, center island. That is where some of the richest people live. What brings you here?"
"I am to give a presentation about a new ICO, initial coin offering not running on etherium."
"So you are looking for an investor." she nodded.
"Almost everything runs on the block chain in Atlantis. Atlantis is a fresh start for thousands of people. They appreciate the anonymity the crypto space affords."
She left her seat and sat next to Jack. He didn't mind, a young pretty girl next to him. The fourth glass of rum diminished his guard and they smiled at each other.
"Why are there so many people going to Atlantis today." she ask.
"Well Amanda its the Neptune festival this weekend."
"What is that about?"
"Once a year the festival brings virtually thousands of boats, ships, and yachts to the city-state. there are all kinds of competitions. Especially the power boat races. You might even see king Henry Taylor throttling his jet-powered pace boat."
'I see a gleam in your eyes when you speak about the king. Do you know him personally? I heard so many stories and legends of Henry Taylor"
Vanessa returned with two drinks, rum for Jack and a bloody Mary for Amanda.
"Thank you Vanessa." then turning to Amanda who was eager to learn as much as possible.
"Do I know him personally? That is a good question. Henry Taylor. I met him 30 years ago. We both worked at Foodshack in Jacksonville as stock clerks.
