Wow! That's a huge increase. Chances are they will try to make it illegal, because that's they way they've always done it, by force. Have you heard about the Battle of the Beanfield? The irony is that if they bothered to ask why people are doing this, then they could look at negotiating and changing policies in a way that might entice the people back into the system. It has to get pretty bleak for people to make a scary jump like this into independence. Most people prefer the safety of the state.

Ive seen it a while ago, I was living with some old punks who were there up in Nottingham, they filled me in on it and then showed me photos of it :( I hate the police with passion!
