Someone told me to be careful with Hive Watchers because they could force me to power down my account if I wasn't careful.

Yeah, not worried about the owl. I do wonder about people not completely seeing what is happening right before our eyes. We ALL have the opportunity to opt out of systems controlled by companies and governments. We have tools at our disposal to communicate and transact on alternative networks, yet people focus on the $3 they lost on a plagiarized post they lost because a larger account downvoted them.
I'm still amazed by what's being built.
