RE: Day 293 : 5 Minute Freewrite: Wednesday - Prompt: smooth as silk

I was a bit late to the show on yesterdays prompt, but I made it to this one and it turned into a real speed typing challenge!

_{The Tranquillity In Stolen Silk}

_{The thick milky coffee was exactly what he needed. The silken liquid quenched his dry throat. He had hit it hard last night, drank far too much to be at work right now.}

_{The creamy beverage, had a glossy shiny under the office lights. The pale brown liquid hid beneath a frothy top. He stared into the cup.}

_{In just a few more gulps, it would be over. There was something he found immeasurably crushing, about the ending of the silken moment. He only ever had one a day, he never had time to make another. He snuck off after he clocked in, and concocted the roasted bean delight.}

_{His head pounded, as though he dragged his mind through prickled branches. Pickled branches more like, he thought to himself with a smile as he took another sip}

_{He had drank so much more than he intended. He had been doing it a lot recently. Nothing had changed, his life was the same as it had always been. The rushed morning, the dull office, the same house waiting, when he finally staggered back there. Maybe that was it, maybe he just couldn’t do the same thing every day any more. Getting blackout drunk at least mixed it up. He drained the last smooth dregs of coffee, consoling himself with the promise of hearing the tales of last nights accolades at the bar later.}
