Prompt of the day “Dream” - Ever Wonder What Your Dog Dreams Of?

What a lazy bugger! Just chillaxin at grandmas house on SSI, you know he feels completely at home laying in that position. Mel sent me that photo this morning and I couldn’t help think “what is he dreaming of?”, 😅 she said he’s been laying their for over an hour.

Looking through the prompt selection for the weekend boom there it is “Dream”, love the weekend repeats.

I imagine when twitching away, he is dreaming of squirrels 🐿 actually catching one for a change. He has chased down a few cats but never attacked them, had a few encounters with raccoons which he got his butt kicked, gone after a million deer but they are just far to quick, but those squirrels 🐿 stay within eyesight just a couple feet up a tree out of distance.

Brings me back to cartoons with Chip and Dale and how mischievous they were. Always taunting Donald Duck but rarely did he catch them, when he did they would figure a way out of the situation with little to no harm.

He must be dreaming of that day he finally gets them pesky squirrels 🐿, the day he learns how to climb a dang tree. He has tried ohh believe me he has tried, ran 4 feet up one that was angled just right!
