Does anyone know the tool to be able to check over your followers and see who is still active? I really want to Unfollow all those who have stopped posting on the platform.
Furthermore I want to follow variety, so whomever comments on this post ( specifically from the #powerhousecreatives ) I will look into your account and follow you if I like your content!
As of right now on my feed is full of a bunch of resteems and some random posts I’m not particularly interested in, so annoying scrolling for days to find nothing interesting!
So comment below, drop a link to a great recent post of yours, point my support in a direction you may think interests me!
You could even tag someone you think I should look into that deserves the support!
I’m curious to see what each of you considers “variety”, like the colours of the rainbow content comes in every shade 🌈

hi @d00k13. I recently went through and cleared a lot of people I was following. Here's how (and warning, this is time consuming): I had two windows open on my desktop. In one window I had my list of people I follow and in the other I had www.steemit.com/@.... I typed in a name and if they hadn't posted in more than four months, they were gone.
I spent several hours at it, in a couple of separate stints. But it felt really good to mostly get down to active people. Goodbye quitters!!
But the fact is, my feed is not how I find great content anyway. I use Steemify. I have added tons of people who regularly post great content and get notifications when they put up a new post. I try to get to as many of them as I can to comment and upvote their work.

Yea I don’t think there are any dapps still working for followers sadly 🤔 I have been thinking of unfollowing everyone then just following those that catch my attention all over again 😅

I don't know either. I wish we could still check and also that our follower lists weren't scrambled because it makes it more difficult for me to find those people I really enjoy visiting.
I like to look at @nomad-magus and @erh.germany.
I agree with you @kimberlylane, some sort of ordering or filtering to the follower list would be grand! Favourite authors maybe 🤔

@d00k13 There used to be one called "dead followers" but last I checked it was down. Maybe Partiko or Steempeak will implement such a tool. They already have some sweet stuff for Steem.

So far the answer is the projects have died, wondering how hard such a project would be to put together.

There used to be a tool - and with so many of the things developed for Steem, it doesn't seem to be working anymore. So, the only way I can think off is that you go every day through x number of people you are following and if they haven't posted in a while, unfollow.
Personally, I hardly ever look at my feed so I don't bother...
Yea I am finding my feed useless but I need it to be functional for the on the go activity I have! I really wish @partiko would implement resteem blocking for our feeds and for personal blog feeds, people have gone a little nutty with mass resteeming as of late 😅
Doing it manually is just way to much work for me 🤦♂️

I hear you. That is why I come back to Steemit a lot of times. for one, I can vote and comment on everyone. Partiko doesn't let me do that and many of the others, I have to sign in every time. That just takes way too much time...

I recently did the old clear-out via @jayna's method. :) Some usernames I was following, hadn't posted since maybe April or so last year! And a lot of their names were no longer familiar to me, which was disappointing. At the same time, there were a few familiar names that also hadn't posted in a while... and I felt guilty about removing them, knowing that I really liked what they were posting at one time. Still, away they went. They call me the Follower Pruner. LOL.
I'm not a member of the powerhouse creatives, though it has been tempting from time to time to apply to join. :) Just unsure I can commit to the level of desired Discord interaction. The application invite post scares the willies out of me, haha!
But, if you want to check out my writing, feel free. Nothing world-shaking, just fiction and babbles! Trying to hone my craft and release my heart and soul in book-form this year. :)

Don’t fear if I can find the time for the powerhousecreatives I bet anyone can! I think they have that scare tactic to make certain only serious people apply, I think you would do great 👍 essentially 3 daily actions which you may already do confirmed in discord and support for their vote rally which seems to be daily also! The benefits are well worth the effort ❤️
