We still have one if those magic pens! I had a type writer I used to write stories (slowly) before we got our first PC. I still look at them fondly in junk shops!

It's hard to find a typewriter these days. I saw these keyboards that look like old-fashioned typewriters in an advertisement. They look sort of cute, but I hope they work better than that old typewriter did. :)

Also, you'll find them really annoying to type on after using a computer keyboard. You had to hold your hands up higher and thump those keys hard. Typists had big finger muscles! I have seen typewriters in our local junk shop, but I know I won't use it. I like the convenience of deletion, retyping, cut and pasting! I remember the pain of trying to cover up mistakes and then line up the type just right to type over it: it was never quite right! I wonder if I still have typewritten stories somewhere...
Oh, I'm sure. Well, when I learned, I thought the typewriter was pretty amazing. But I can't imagine why anybody would want to return to that. It is a nifty thing though. Maybe it works better than it looks.
