I was looking at the prompt earlier today and didn't know what is the meaning.
Bushwhacked
But, the word looks awesome to me. Like something coming with a force or sort of.
I went on my day and delaying all the Steemiverse matters because I needed to get my house in shape before Chinese New Year. We have this custom going on for years that newness is an important element for the celebration. Newness in home. In clothes. In shoes. Etc. But you see, I am not going to buy a new clothes or shoes for myself as I am very careful in spending since Jansen's birth.
Then, what's new for Chinese New Year. At least, a home which looks decently new and fresh and clean. Therefore, I am determined to clean the whole house — whole — by this I truly meant from wall to ceiling and to every corners possible.
I only managed to clean 50% to 80% of every 'department', here and there. For this type of spring cleaning tasks, I don't prefer to include my boys as they might screw up the plan considering the young age. Maybe they could help me by sitting down and watching TV or play puzzles. Lol...
At the end of the day, I felt so accomplished yet exhausted, plus, tomorrow there will be some more cleaning to be done. I have yet to clean the fridge - I am sure there are food in there which can be thrown away. The pantry area. Rooms. Oh dear...
Just before sleep, I wanted to do the freewrite and here was what I got. To hang out at Steemverse as well as other social media. Me-time.
Oh yes, it was indeed a timely prompt. It had been a long day and I was completely bushwhacked.
