When we were small we use to use a certain thread to make hair, it was a common thing for making hair back then and the hair stylist of those time were very good in making different styles with the hair. Both children and adult does use it to make there hair, at that time it was popularly believed that it helps hair grow faster although some still believe that. One good thing the thread does to natural hair is straighten the coarse edge of the hair and makes it easy to comb. At a particular time people stop making there hair with the thread due to the advent of new hair styles but school children were still doing it and it looks so beautiful on them.
The thread was actually being sold at a cheap rate than any other material used in making hair as at that time and whenever you buy one of the thread you can actually make fine style with and on some many occasion it remains that can be used the next time. The thread was a one time use that was one major disadvantage of it. Once you loose the hairstyle done with the thread it became practically useless although some re used it but it doesn't make the hairstyle done with it neat and beautiful. At a particular time it was term to be religious hairstyle, anybody who uses it to make their hair were given names and a lot of people avoided it so that they won't be called names.
As I was sitting down today near a store close to my house I saw a lady holding the thread and I was like waooh but what I saw was totally different from what I used to know it to be, it was really small and the price was now high due to inflation. The girl told me she bought it to complete an hair they have previously bought the thread for and it wasn't enough, I was totally amaze at the quantity and the quality of the thread. I was turned off comparing the price to the quantity
