Motherhood is one level of life every woman wants to experience although not all women like the stress and change in body system and appearance that comes with it. But I most say it is definitely a good experience watching the conception of a child, the birth and the growth of the child is an awesome and amazing thing. Everybody thought Mrs Voice was one of the few women would doesn't like the stress of motherhood because she married at a young age with a perfect body structure. She was giving out in marriage a year after her mother's death. After the death of her mother her father remarried and new wife didn't find her presence in the house palatable. The new wife did all she could to convince Mrs Voice father to give her out in marriage instead of spending and spending on her since she will finally end up in a man's house and she actually succeeded in doing that.
Mrs Voice got married to Mr Voice who was living in a neighboring community to that of Mrs Voice's father with a promise of sending her to university which was Mrs Voice's dream. He actually fulfilled his promise and gave her a very good life anybody could actually think of. When she got married she took the entrance exam into university and she was given admission in which she spent four years there although she attended the university in her state since she was married she couldn't afford to stay far away from her husband. Althrough her university days she was going to school from her house. Throughout those period the excuse of her husband for protecting himself for her not to be pregnant anytime they have sexual intercourse is so that she can fully focus on her academics. Mrs Voice was actually okay with that because she has also thought of the stress of being pregnant and still attending numerous classes.
It became a challenge after she has graduated from school and the husband still continue the same thing. Anytime he didn't make use of it he will ask her to use pill and this time around his excuse is that he is not emotionally prepared for it. And Mrs Voice keeps saying to him you never told me all this before I agree to marry you. This was going on and on and Mrs Voice was practically becoming tired of the situation. In the neighborhood is a grandmother who all her children are married and she loves Mrs Voice so much. Although, she was not aware of what was actually happening all her mindset was that Mrs Voice has not been able to conceive and this became a burden and a concern to her. She does pray for her every day. One of the evenings she over held them qurelling she was moved with compassion for the Mrs Voice in that mood she bow her head suddenly she held Mrs Voice ranting "what is the bliss in being married without children tell me what is the bliss and this is all cause by you ". At this point grandma raise her head and was wondering what that statement means is it that the man is impotent or what? Soon, Mr Voice came out of the house and drove out leaving Mrs Voice weeping. Due to the closeness of their room to grandma's room grandma could hear her sobbing so she decided to go and meet her.
Opening the door after several knocks on the door without answer grandma met Mrs Voice lying on the floor with some pills in her hand she being curious and thinking it was a suicidal attempt. On getting to her without asking her question she starts to pour out all abs and this is because she has buckled alot in her mind. Grandma felt helpless about the whole situation but encourage herself so she could encourage her. Mrs Voice told grandma that her husband has been doubtlessly good to her but that is the only area she could not lay her hands on to know what the matter is with his husband. Grandma succeeded in cheering her up and she took her leave to think about the reason for such an action by that loving and quiet man and also the possible solution to the problem so as to help the poor lady.
In grandma search of the problem she realized it was a psychological situation. That was after several times of speaking to Mr Voice. Mr Voice has been married four times and her marriage to Mrs Voice is his fifth marriage, all the wife she was previously married to died during childbirth and this has become a very serious situation for him. The last lady's family before he married Mrs Voice arrested him and accursed him of killing their daughter for money ritual and the case took 3 years before it was resolved. After that he already told himself he is not going to marry again and if at all he is going to marry no pregnancy talk more of giving birth. With so much persuasions from grandma he succeeded in getting a psychologist and attends the classes so as to get over the trauma of the past marriages. Mrs Voice was very helpful when she got to know about the situation. Mr Voice was helped and after some months Mrs Voice became pregnant this time around grandma's two eyes were on her, she took her in as her daughter and care for her at every stage of the pregnancy until the day of delivery. Mr Voice was at the verge of dying when the nurses were not responding to him and were just moving up and down but grandma was there kneeling down in prayers and at a point she stood up held Mr Voice's hand and continue to pray until the doctor came out to give a good report that Mrs Voice has been delivered of twins two boys. It was a victory at last but thanks to grandma for her kind gesture.
