Rusty
Nail is a word best not thought of while just waking up.
It brings thoughts of coffins, last words, vampires, and zombies.
Not the good ones though, like the ones we all know. It brings thoughts of the bad ones that sneak into your house at night and run amuck while you try to sleep.
Those mischief makers are the ones when upon waking, you think to yourself, I really need to lock the doors tighter and maybe get some kind of sealer to fill all the leaks!
Then again, you know yourself, the only way to keep them out is to nail them shut in a coffin but that's an awful lot of work when you just woke up.
All you want to do is go back to bed but you found yourself rusty from not doing any freewrites for a very long time. @honeydue, a great, scary, crazy freewriter in her own right, then drops off the newest daily Freewrite prompt before you can shut off your computer again! Sigh........
You just want your happy place back, you know the one! The one where words rush out of your brain faster and faster, while your hands cannot stop typing, jibberish if you look at it, but to a trained tired eye you know what you just typed if you don't leave it too long sitting all alone......
Yup, still no sleep for the wicked, tired or good zombies that still need another 8-hour nap.
Nails, coffins and time limits now are all on my mind while really not awake and now alarms are going off!
