Wolv the conqueror

Today a friend reminded me that I drew this for her a couple years ago.
She moved to a new house so when I came for the housewarming I secretly put this up in her room. As soon as she noticed she died laughing, she loved it! Her father ( and later when she got one her boyfriend) did not haha...

I used an old (I think) Conan the barbarian comic as my reference. Inked it and finished it off with fake copic markers.
I slightly messed up the proportions of my head... but ah well what can you do.

For battle

Lina looked around in panic, the sound of metal hitting metal had surrounded her room. Soon all that would separate her from the barbaric intruders was a massive locked oak door. There was no other way out... Her window was 4 stories up and only one door in and out... She considered jumping out for a second. Why did she have to choose the only room without a view over the moat.

She could hear the French shouts coming closer and closer to her room, her guards were outnumbered and losing... Those damn French with their silly language... I mean... "mil sept cent quatre-vingt dix-neuf". who even comes up with that...

A loud bang snapped her out of her thoughts... She realized her situation once again and started to look around for any kind of weapon she could find. Suddenly the sound of metal on metal stopped...

But even before she was done sighing of relieve there was a loud banging on the door and a voice shouting "ouvrir" whatever that might mean... Don't these barbarians know they are invading an English speaking castle? They can't expect that the castle that they are invading just conforms to their standards and starts speaking their weird language... What is wrong with them....

The banging on the door continues "Princesse! Nous savons que vous êtes là! Ouvrir!!!!" again with that crazy language.
"IF YOU DECIDE TO INVADE AN ENGLISH CASTLE! AT LEAST HAVE THE COMMON DECENCY TO YELL IN ENGLISH! YOU STINKING BASTARDS!" she just had to... she could not keep it in. A moment of silence followed, clearly they had not expected this. Or they were trying to figure out what Lina had said...
Sadly the moment only lasted a couple seconds before the banging and yelling recommenced... In French obviously...

She kept looking for a weapon... best she could find was a chandelier... that would have to do. She took a defensive stance, they should break trough that door in anytime now... That damn lucky Laura... picking the room with the moat view, surviving this would have made up for the daily awful smell.

"You seem to have quite the situation here, what are you going to do with that candle stick Little Lina... hope the fuckers have a wax fetish and let you go?" a laughing voice suddenly said from behind her.
Lina shocked for a second, fell to her knees and starting smiling and thanking god, there was only one bastard that refuses to call her Princess no matter what.

She turned around and there he was sitting in the windowsill. She jumped into his arms and cried "How in mothers name did you get up here you filthy bastard...!". He gave her a hug and a pat on the head, put her back on her feet and just smiled at her.

"Now let's see whet mess you got yourself into this time Little Lina" he said while grabbing his axe and long sword. With one firm kick the door broke out of its hinges and was launched against the wall, crushing two Frenchmen between the wall and the door. "alors on va" he said smiling. Now this one was speaking weirdly too... damn.

he started to swing his axe and sword left and right, dropping the French left and right like flies. "WATCH OUT!" Lina yelled. A little to late... one of those French bastards had managed to sneak up on him, piercing his shoulder with a dagger. He turned around and in one motion decapitated the Frenchman with his axe while pinning him to the wall with his sword. He looked at Lina with those always bright and shining eyes "Would you give me a hand and pull that little pecker out please?" he said with a smile "and how about you join in on the fun a bit luv? haha" he added.

Lina did as asked pulled the dagger out and followed him down the stairs. She tabbed tow of the bastards that tried to sneak up on them again before managing to reach the front door. Outside they were met by a line of archers, even before Lina realized what was going on he had already thrown his axe at the closest archer, splitting the French dog in two, grabbed her over his shoulder and jumped of off the staircase to get out of the archer's range.

They managed to reach the stable only leaving a small trail of blood and bodies behind but they made it. Her trustworthy stead was gone... So where the other horses... She panicked.
Luckily he was with her, whenever she felt panic she would look in his blue eyes for some reason that always calmed her down.

As he was standing by the door making sure no one followed them she remembered the secret passage she used to play in when she was younger.
To not draw attention by shouting she ran up to him tapped him on his shoulder and whispered to follow her.

The secret passage was quite narrow he could barely fit. After closing it up they followed the passage for miles before reaching the end. The passage ended on a riverbed beneath a bridge. She walked up to the bridge and looked back at wat used to be her home. The castel was burning, the shouting had stopped. They had lost... But they were still alive

Lina collapsed, If only that was how it happened, she thought while blood filled her longs spraying out every time she coughed. She looked at the sword that had pierced her chest. While she was on the floor in between the splinters of the massive oak door she looked around her room one last time before a metal boot obstructed her view and with one last crack made the world dark forever.
