Hello steemian it's another Friday foodies with @minakussiy organized by @maryfavour and @redfishpillar.

Rice is everyones favorite, and it's a food we cook in our home in a different ways. Today am going to show you how I prepared Jollof Rice with pepper meat and veggies.

INGREDIENT
Jollof Rice for (8 persons)
cups of rice
1 kilo of beef
Fresh tomatoes
Ground Fresh peppers
Spices (Curry, Thyme, beef spices)
maggi/rico
4 pieces of onions
vegetable oil
salt
garlic and ginger
2 Cucumber
Green pepper
Green beans
1 Cabbage
Carrots

Procedure
Parboil the meat, with the spices ( Maggi, salt, curry, garlic, ginger). I like to use lots of them so as to end up with a very tasty fried meat. And then prepare the main food with the meat water,to enhance the taste of the rice.
Peel of the outer back of the ginger/garlic, pound or grind. Then slice all the veggies and onions.

Parboil rice(put a pot on fire allow the water to boil then add the rice in to the pot, add cups of rice and allow to cook(boil) for 20mins. Then pour out and wash thoroughly with clean water then set aside in plastic sieve And keep aside.

I put a pot on fire and add oil I used in frying my meat allowed to get hot then I added the grounded fresh pepper, tomatoes and onions.I allowed to Fry the tomatoes peppers and onions for about 20 mins. Fry until when you lift a portion with your frying spoon you will notice the oil continues to boil in the spoon. You also notice the colour change while frying.
Once the tomato is well fried, add the meat water, the ground ginger/garlic, curry, salt to your taste then add water, add maggi.I Stir and taste the spicy water. I allowed the spicy water to boil and I added the parboil rice, then I stire well to mix.then cover the pot to cook well. Until the rice is soft then I added slice veggies to also stem. Then take off from fire ready for dishing.BeautyPlus_20180309181054_save.jpg

Pepper meat (on tooth pick with veggies )
After parboiling and frying the meat, and fried pepper. Mix the meat inside the spicy fried pepper and add Maggi and pinch salt allow to stem well, then take the slice cucumber, onions, and green pepper with the tooth pick, arrange the meat and the veggies on the stick as shown below
