Mango fruit or commonly called diving and in scientific language is Mangifera indica is the name of the fruit as well as the name of the tree. This fruit belongs to the clan Mangifera, which consists of 35-40 members, and the tribe Anacardiaceae. The fruit is thought to have originated from around the Indian border with Burma and has spread to Southeast Asia at least since 1500 years ago..
