Howdy Janton, those star shape things is starfruit, but it's just for decoration. It doesn't have much taste. Did you read the recipe? Since you always asking for smoothie recipes ,lol.
As far the winner, well, I am not the judge, but I agree, that cake looks dreamy, lol.
howdy back Miss Lena...the starfruit is just for decoration? You mean there is a fruit which is not good to eat? Maybe if it's good for you it would pick up the tastes of other fruit in a fruit salad. Yes I read the recipe but what does Maca powder do? Does it taste like anything? But yes you just throw those fruits in a blender right?
I think the star fruit tastes better if it is picked from the tree or bough on the local market of it's origin, which is Indonesia. I am sure it can be good in the salad, but I used it twice in the photoshoot, so it's done, lol.
And yes, everything in the blende and Maca powder has taste, but it is very mild.
Didn't we already talked about MACA POWDER? Maca root powder has become popular due to benefits which may include increased energy levels, vitality and endurance, healthy sexual function and libido, reduced anxiety and stress, healthy brain function and balancing healthy hormone levels to help relieve symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes.
good memory Miss Lena! Yes we did talk about it but I didn't know if it had any taste or flavor to it. Well that's interesting about the Star fruit, so it probably isn't good unless you can pick it in Indonesia!
Yes, I do have pretty good memory when comes to things like this, lol. Superfoods, such as maca, matcha, spirulina, chia seeds, flaxseed meal and hemp seeds are adding to meals for the nutritional value, not for the flavor. They do have their own taste, however, it is hardly noticeable when only small amount is mixed with other more flavorful ingredients.
I guess I will be able to tell you for sure about the starfruit when I go to Indonesia, lol.
oh wow Miss Lena, when are you going to Indonesia? or was that a joke? Some of those things you mentioned like chia and flaxseed would be good to put on salads wouldn't they, to add to the nutrition?
Maybe someday I will go to Indonesia, but for now it is a joke, lol.
For salads is better hemp seeds and nutritional yeast, which I forgot to mention. The rest is better for smoothies. Nutritional yeast also adds a cheesy flavor and it's good for soups too. And I know you will ask me what does it do regarding health, so in the nut shell, it is rich in B12, protein and mineral content.
howdy Miss Lena! oh so nutritional yeast sounds like a very good thing to add to salads too, I wonder why I've never heard of it, does everyone carry it? is it with the flour in the stores, I'm sure if they have it then it would be with the regular yeast.
