Curiosity got the best of me. I actually picked it up, put in 50 cents and heard a dial tone. Worth the 50 cents just for the throwback feeling.
But, forever ago when I was dating , we always had a Daddy Dime so we could use a pay phone to call daddy if date wasn't going well. From a dime to 50 cents. Talk about inflation.
