Freedom of speech is a tricky subject these days. So many ways to offend people, well I should rather say there are so many people that get so easily offended by, mostly their own inability to deal with truth. Really simple concept this freedom of speech bit. I like the idea of being able to say what I think, but I do keep in mind to respect others enough to grant them the same right. If this concept is managed maturely and with respect it can lead to very interesting dialog, but no, there must always be one that has to start whining about a hurt feeling. Does freedom of speech still exist, it must.

I'm fortunate enough to live in a country that allows it. But the issue, at least in my opinion is conflation.
Freedom of Speech != Freedom from Consequence
Now, attempting to explain that to victim minded people is close to impossible.
Hahahahaha, I hear you man. There is a serious victim mentality these days. Sadly as those who claim it I think dumb themselves down and closes opportunity for constructive communication, but hey, no better wy to silence the truth.
