You won't be disappointed. They are a ton of fun. Even the "bad" costumes are great because you know the people wearing them are having fun.

Yeah! That's the key difference I think. From the pictures it really looks like they're having fun, and they're so passionate about what they're doing. Here, most people just look like they're in it for cash and attention, which is a shame.
