8 Vancouver Sighting

On February 20, 2011, a bunch of residents in Vancouver, Canada began reporting an unidentified flying object in the sky. It was moving around irregularly and had red and green blinking lights. The recordings of this incident seem to be pretty clear cut proof of a UFO in broad daylight, but investigation into the object revealed that it was actually just a kite with LED Lights attached to it.

7 Yeni Kent Compound Sightings

A guard stationed at the Yeni Kent Compound in Turkey filmed amazingly clear footage of UFOs in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Each recording seems to be of the same metallic UFO, and some even claim that intense investigation and zooming in on the picture reveal figures standing inside of them. These recordings have become infamous in the Ufology community, often cited as “the most significant findings in regards to UFOs ever”. They are still intensely studied by UFO enthusiasts for details regarding extraterrestrials.

6 Kolkata Sighting

In 2007, several people in Kolkata, India reported to see a fast moving object between 3:30 AM and 6:30 AM. The object seemed to be emitting some sort of bright light that formed a halo around itself. They described the object as “triangular” and rapidly changing colors between white, green, yellow, red, and blue. No Indian officials have come out and addressed the sighting.

5 Mexico Fiery UFO

On June 29, 2011, video of a fiery object sailing through the sky above Cuernavaca near Mexico City was uploaded to Youtube. The footage was shot from the side of a road and zooms in on the UFO. UFO watchers have theorized that the object was a piece of Space Junk or meteorite falling through the atmosphere and burning up. However the winglike trails it leaves behind are reminiscent of the kind a plane would have, leaving many to believe it is some kind of vehicle rather than a piece of debris.

4 Strange Light Over Yosemite

In September of 2002 a strange light was seen in Yosemite Park near the border of Nevada and California. It was filmed by youtube user Oliver G and shows an orb shaped light with a halo sailing through the sky followed by a mysterious vapor trail. The vapor in the video has an irregular pattern and seems to glow in the dark sky. The video quickly became one of the most viewed videos in 2006 and has currently accrued more than 4 million views. Apparently, moments after the orb appeared and disappeared, Air Force jets arrived and began circling in the sky where the light appeared. There is almost no information on this event, which just makes it even more mysterious.

3 Huge Light in Russia, Huge Sinkhole

In March 2015, footage was captured of a huge light appearing in the night sky above Kizel, Perm in Russia. About a week after this event, a 20 meter sinkhole was reported in the same area of Russia. The chances of these events occurring so close together are slim, so many have assumed that they are somehow linked. Could this be the work of extraterrestrial visitors making contact with Earth?

2 Belgian UFO Wave

From November 29th 1989 to April 1990, a series of sightings of triangular UFOs occurred in Belgium. The first sighting in November 1989 was substantiated by 30 different groups of witnesses and 3 groups of police officers. They all reported a flat, triangular shape with lights on the bottom flying at a very low altitude. The aircraft didn’t make a sound as it moved. The wave continued into March of 1990 when unknown objects were chased through the night sky by two Belgian Air Force F-16s and were seen by an estimated 13,000 people from the ground. At least 2,000 of those witnesses filed written statements about the sighting. These sightings have been explained by skeptics as mass delusion, however many believe that these were truly aircrafts from another world.

1 Shag Harbor UFO Incident

In 1967, at least 11 residents in Nova Scotia witnessed a low flying object with lights heading yosemtowards Shag Harbor. Witnesses reported hearing a “whistling noise” before a loud bang as the aircraft crashlanded into the harbor. Local police responded immediately, assuming it was a civilian aircraft and that survivors would need to be rescued. When police arrived they saw the strange object sinking into the water and responded as if there were people who needed to be found. However, 10 police units and local fishing ships searched the waters and didn’t find any survivors or even debris. Explanations such as a military aircraft or missile were dismissed and was filed officially as a UFO report. The case remains unsolved.
